Cover art by Victor Candell. ; A celebrated collection of fifteen fairy tales gathered by legendary Norwegian folklorists Peter Christen Asbjørnsen and Jørgen Engebretsen Moe on their journeys across Norway in the mid-nineteenth century. ; Exterior shows moderate wear. Interior shows a few foxmarks here and there, otherwise no marks. Main defect: portion (about one fourth) of front free endpaper ripped out and missing. Binding tight. Overall very nice.
