The Rev. John Greenleaf Adams (1810-1887) authored many books on Universalist history and was a close personal friend of Thomas Whittemore. ; Very little wear. Front endpaper wrinkled. Owner name (Mary A. Peabody, 23 Columbus Ave) penned on front flyleaf in a fine hand in old ink. No other marks. Remarkably attractive and well preserved book.
