Very small text. ; Originally published 1829. This is 25th edition (25th printing) stated, 1840. Published by Boston: Thomas Whittemore, NY: Philo Price, Woodstock VT: Haskell & Palmer. ; The Rev. Sebastian Streeter (1783-1867) and his brother, the Rev. Russell Streeter (1791-1880) were well-known Universalist preachers, newspaper editor-publishers and hymnwriters of the early 19th century. ; Light exterior wear. Owner name (Charlotte Ann Tuttle) blindstamped on rear in very small letters. One rear blank leaf has wrinkles and closed tear. Final page of text (list of sources) torn and partly missing. No other defects. Wallet-style flap is intact and in working order. Gilt sharp and readable. Binding tight. Scarce.
