Not a recipe book; a history of the cocoa industry from cacao trees to chocolate drinks and confections. ; Cloth is rubbed at extremities, frayed at heel and crown. Bookplate on front endpaper from Library of Hiram Walker & Sons, Inc, Research Department, with W logo. 12 pages have underlining or margin marks in red pencil, all in a light hand. Gilt lettering on front is a bit dull but all readable, on spine is heavily rubbed and mostly gone. Binding tight. Scarce. Sold as is.
