This is a lovely early reprint, about 1895. ; Yes, this volume includes the famously dreadful novel Lucile, written entirely in rhyming anapestic tetrameter (example: In the silence that followed the last word she said, / In the heave of his chest and the droop of his head, / Poor Lucile marked her words had sufficed to impart / A new germ of motion and life to his heart . . . ) ; Spine is a bit dull but quite readable. Cloth worn at heel and crown. Pages are just a bit yellow from age, but not brittle. A few minor pencil marks here and there. Binding tight.
