471 pages; 24mo (5") 13 cm; Most attractive little volume. 1822 edition. Small hardcover (3.5 x 5 inches) 90 x 125 mm. Full red leather, gilt title over black leather spine band, 38 + 331 + 102 pages, 471 total pages, all edges gilt, 10 b/w plates reproduced from copper engravings, German text throughout, in old Fraktur script. ; Includes standard almanac data, plus literature, poetry, etc, by E. T. A. Hoffmann, Georg Reinbeck and others; genealogies of crowned heads of Europe; Berzeichniss der Postcourse (list of postal routes) with index. ; Light wear, minor foxing here and there. Rebound about 1890 with original rear cover bound in, quite worn but intact. One plate has closed taped tear. Library name stamped on title page in old ink. No other marks. Binding tight. Scarce.
