Black leather spine and tips, black cloth over boards, 18 to 28 pgs per issue, articles, opinion pieces, music news, obituaries, local classified and display ads, 3 or more original songs and/or piano pieces per issue, with full music, some also with 4-part harmony. ; Published by music store owners at 113 Woodward Avenue, Detroit, Michigan, 1874-1875. Original songs by: Whittemore, J. C. Macy, Virginia Gabriel, others; piano solos and duets by Max Vernor, A. C. Schoolman, Hattie C. Pomeroy, etc. ; 12 leaves have closed tears, mostly music pages, everything readable. Small edge tears to several other leaves. A few light pencil marks. No missing pages. Everythingreadable. Binding is in poor condition, backstrip heavily chipped and worn. Little foxing. Textblock intact. Extremely rare.
