George Fisk Piper (1836-1932) Original short fiction, poetry, articles, anecdotes, puzzles, etc, for youth and young children who are endowed with the ability to reason. ; Writers include Aunt Clara, Annie D. Darling, Nathaniel Seaver, Mrs. E. H. Pinkham, Miss Elizabeth Parsons Channing, more. ; Very light wear. A few pages show minor foxing. One issue show pale discoloration at lower tips, not affecting any text. Hinges long ago reinforced with booktape. No other defects.
