This is an early US edition, 1897. ; Owner long ago lightly penciled his name and/or address on front endpaper, halftitle page, and rear endpaper, and did sums on front flyleaf. No other marks. Cloth shows very light edgewear, faint discoloration. Gilt bright and sharp. Binding tight.
