Includes Burbank's responses to a questionnaire about his personal religious (or rather atheistic) and scientific beliefs. ; Limited edition of 1500 stated. This unit not numbered. ; This wonderful old book is a memorial tribute to the great botanist Luther Burbank, and includes the speech given at the planting of his memorial tree in Central Park (1927) by the Freethinkers Society of New York, of which Burbank was a member and honorary vice president. ; Very light edgewear. Cloth tanned on spine and edges of boards. Tiny chip to cloth on fore-edge of rear board. No marks. Binding tight. Scarce.
