191 pages; 8vo (8.25") 21 cm; Dark brown cloth, black lettering and decor, 191 pages, main text in 2 columns. ; Historical romance, a ficionalized account of Zenobia, Queen of Palmyra (Syria, Palestine, Egypt and other areas) who went to war against the Roman Empire in the 3rd Century. ; Originally published in 1836. This edition dated 1892. Owner name on front endpaper dated 1898. This was a popular book in its time and was reprinted often; exact number of this printing is unknown. ; Written by the Rev. William Ware (1797-1852) who was perhaps more famous as a novelist than as a Unitarian minister. ; Very light wear to extremities. Owner name penciled and stamped on front endpaper. Gilt spine title is small and faded but readable. No other defects. ; Not How Many but How Good Books You Have Series
