Owner name (Otto Landman) and 1907 penned on front endpaper in old ink. One page has margin notes in fountain pen. One leaf has chip to fore-edge, not affecting text. Affixed to rear blank pages, on prescription sheet of Joseph F. Gates, Jr, Prescription Druggist, Toledo, Ohio, with 4-digit telephone number, are instructions in fountain pen for making aniline mater, and on prescription sheet of Dr. Otto Landman, instructions for cleaning and staining a specimen.
