807 pages; 12mo (7.5") 19 cm; Hardcover, brown cloth, ornate decor in black, gilt lettering, floral-patterned endpapers, [xiii] + 807 pages, index of Dickens' works in rear. ; Household Edition (from a uniformly bound set of reprints) stated. ; Most specimens of popular literature from this era have not aged well; however, this book is intact, with no marks, no rips, no tears, no serious damage. Light exterior wear. Pages are yellowed but not brittle. A few leaves have small edge chips, not affecting text. Gilt is rubbed but still bright and readable. Binding is tight, no visible damage to hinges.
