Stocking, 1881-1949. ; (Amazonbuyers please note: This is an actual publication from 1950, not a flimsy computer-generated reprint) Not to be confused with Redford Union high school, Redford high school was situated in northwest Detroit and served students in Old Redford, Grandmont, Rosedale Park and Brightmoor; it graduated two classes per year, one in January, one in June; each class had its own colors. This yearbook is for June graduating class of 1950.; We have graded this item Poor. Binding is almost completely shot but center pages are holding together. All pages are present but some are photocopies, not originals. Many leaves have small edge-tears and creases but everything is readable. Many marks, names, greetings, etc, in pen and pencil. Quite scarce. Sold as is. ; Items laid in: 1) color glossy photo of photocop from 50th Anniversary Reunion. 2) four articles on champion girls swim team, with Jean McConnell's name underlined, all photocopies. 3) clipping on birth of Jean McConnell in 1931, photocopy.

This edition is bound in rich brown suede leather with yapp edges, title and decor stamped in black on front, dark brown moire-cloth liners, 161 heavy-duty pages, brown page-marker ribbon, monochrome decorative initials and headers. ; Frontispiece b/w portraits of Elbert Hubbard and Alice Moore Hubbard by Jules Gaspard. ; A book of wisdom and advice from one of the most well-known freethinkers of the era, this book also contains a brief biography of Alice Hubbard, author's wife. ; Small chip to leather at crown, very small tear near heel. A touch of foxing here and there. No other defects. Book is in remarkably good condition compared to most books of this type. ; Laid in: old silver-gelatin photo of unknown person, caption penciled on back: 'Was starting for Colorado'
