One very small mark in fountain pen on 'belongs to' page, just a line, not a name. No other marks. Pink illustrated jacket has a touch of edgewear, small sticker scar on upper front.

Glossy throughout. ; Cloth quite worn, small chips to photo paste-downs. Light foxing here and there, also pale dampstains to lower margins of rear leaves, none affecting text or pictures. Several leaves have small tears to lower margins, a common feature of large books well-loved by children; these have been professionally repaired. Front endpaper partly split along hinge, otherwise binding intact. A truly charming book, scarce in any condition.
