464 pages; 12mo (7.5") 19 cm; Small hardcover (5 x 7.5 inches) 13 x 19 cm, brown cloth, gilt lettering, [x] + 464 pages, introduction with table of dialects, plus appendixes and 2 large fold-outs in rear. The main text is a Fijian-English dictionary, with extensive data on word forms, grammar, etc. The second section is an English-Fijian dictionary, to be used as an index. ; Originally published 1941. This is 2nd edition, 1957. ; Words of Bau dialect of Fijian language, as taught in schools of Fiji, plus botanical words. Latin (English-language) characters throughout. ; A touch of shelfwear to bottom edge. Otherwise no signs of wear. The only notable defect is a small indentation to the front endpaper, apparently made long ago by a bookworm. No marks or scribbles. Pages are clean and crisp. Binding is tight. Appears to have never been used.
